「英語カリキュラム」と「英語学習ツリー」

岡山大学の英語カリキュラムでは、実践的でアカデミックな英語力を身につけることを主な目的としています。そのために、4または6年間の学士課程全体を通じた英語学習を大学全体でサポートする体制が整っています。また、大学在学中はもちろんのこと、大学卒業後も英語学習を継続することができるよう、自律学習習慣の形成を促します。英語力の向上を図るとともに、学術分野やキャリアにおいて実践的に活用できる深い知識の習得と、批判的及び創造的な思考力、そしてそれらの発信力の育成を目指します。

The main objective of Okayama University’s English curriculum is to develop students’ practical and academic English proficiency. To this end, a university-wide support system is in place to help students study English throughout their four- or six-year bachelor’s degree programs. We also encourage the formation of independent learning habits so that students can continue their English studies while at university and even after graduation. In addition to improving English language proficiency, we aim to foster students’ critical and creative thinking skills; their ability to acquire information and in-depth knowledge applicable to their academic fields and careers; and their ability to express themselves effectively.

ここでは、学部・学科・コースごとに12の「英語学習ツリー」を紹介しています。英語科目の履修や、海外研修・ゼミなどの経験を通じて、卒業までにどのように英語を学んでいくのかを、見通してみてください。

英語の学びが自分の専門や将来とどうつながっていくのかを意識しながら、自分らしい学びの道すじを描いていきましょう。
