Yakage Dondo Yaki trip
1 月 14 日に、およそ25人の岡大の学生か美しい八景市を訪れました! 学生たちは小 学校に立ち寄り、そこで学校の子供たちや地元の人に会いました。そこでどんど焼 きを見る機会がありました。その後、学生たちは村を少し歩き回り、餅つきイベントに参加する機会がありました。

Yubara Onsen trip
1月7日、約15人の岡大生が湯原温泉を訪れました！湯原温泉は、有名な温泉地であり、西日本屈指の露天風呂「砂湯」があります。学生たちは一日を通して、素晴らしい温泉、美しい景色、そして美味しい地元の食べ物を楽しむことができました。

Korea Town Osaka
1月12日に、約30人の国際学生と岡大生が、L-café主催の大阪・韓国街ツアーに参加しました！最初のアクティビティは短かったんですがとても面白い韓国街ツアーでした。その後、日本で在日韓国人として生活することや少数派グループの一員としての生活することについての講義を聞きました。講義の後、学生たちは自分たちでキムチを作りました。

Discover Kurashiki trip
11月22日に、約20人の留学生がL-caféのフィールドトリップに参加し、美しい倉敷市を探索しました。そこで、学生たちは2つのグループに分かれました。一つのグループは「い草」について学ぶために出発し、他のグループは足袋工場を訪れました。

12月15日に、学生たちはL-caféで一足早くクリスマスパーティーを開きました！ゲームを楽しんだり、スナックを食べたり、プレゼントを交換したりして、素晴らしい夜を過ごしました。

Sweet potato digging trip
On the 11th of November about 10 international students went on a trip to Yakage, where they got the opportunity to dig sweet potatoes, as well as pick tangerines, yuzu and persimmons.

2023年10月28日～29日の週末、岡大交換留学生約10名が玉野と直島へのフィールドトリップに参加しました。そこで留学生たちは島の美しい自然と芸術を楽しみました。

2023年10月21日～22日の週末、岡山大学の留学生たちは約5人が、本島と讃岐広島へのフィールドトリップに参加しました。そこで地元の食べ物を試す機会があり、島を自転車で回り、寿司を作ることを学び、伝統的な茶道に参加しました。

Gourd-making event
On Wednesday about 25 international and Japanese students came to L-Cafe to do the gourd-making workshop organized by Mr. Kishimoto, head of gourd organization, who’s gourd work has been widely used all over Japan.

ベルギーについて学び、一緒にベルギーワッフルを食べようと、50人近くが集まりました。ベルギーの2人の留学生によるベルギーの文化について発表してくれました。

2022年5月29日（日），井原市でにんにく狩りを体験し，浅口市寄島かみごころ酒造・浅口市とんびロケーションで日本文化を体験しました．

2022年7月23日（土）〜7月24日（日），留学生10名を募集し，備前市の頭島でキャンプをサマーキャンプを行いました．

2023年1月15日（日），留学生20名を募集してNew Year Partyを開催しました．餅つき体験を行い，みんなで新年を祝いました．
津山市ツアー guided by local high school students
2023年1月21日（土），留学生5名を募集し，津山市の高校生がガイドとして津山市を案内するイベントを開催しました．地元の高校生が英語を用いて留学生に津山市を紹介しました．
日本酒＆日本人形を学ぶ
2023年2月14日（火），15名の留学生を募集し，旭堂さんを訪れて手作りの日本酒ができるまでの過程を間近で学習し，高梁市で雛祭り人形を制作しているひな人形の喜峯さんのツアーに参加しました．
異文化理解の旅 at Korean Town
2023年2月21日（火），鶴橋商店街やコリアンタウンの成り立ちなどについてツアーガイドによる説明．キムチ作り体験を行い，在日の歴史や食事を学習しました．
尾道 自分発見旅
2023年3月3日（金），留学生15名を募集し，広島県の尾道を訪れて招き猫の色塗りなどの日本文化を体験しました．
Relaxation at Nishiawakura
2023年3月17日（金），留学生15名を募集し，西粟倉でいちご狩りや森林探索などを実施した後に，日本の温泉を体験しました．
Camping at isolated location in Yakage
2023年3月22日（水）〜23日（木），留学生5名を募集し，矢掛市を訪れてキャンプを行いました．天体観察やBBQを行いながら日本の文化を体験しました．

西粟倉村でのシバザクラ植え
2021 年 9 月 28 日(火)，おおがや芝桜公園において，今年度初となる L-café 課外活動を実施しました。留学生を含む岡大生 7 名・教員と地域住民あわせて約 20 名がシバザクラの植え替え作業を行いました。

Coffee & Chat: 説明会の後、L-cafeでコーヒーを飲みながら、留学生と交流しました。
LET’S DANCE: カンザス大学から来た留学生のJONが、アメリカで有名なダンスを紹介してくれました。L-cafeの前でのダンスはちょっと恥ずかしかったけれど、いい思い出を作ることができました。
Game Day: 留学生と英会話をしました。英会話の中でゲームをすると、英語で話すことの緊張感がなくなり、楽しく交流できました。
ホームカミングデー

L-caféは、留学生が作る食品を販売するブースを用意しました。当ブースでは、ブラウニー・カップケーキ・パウンドケーキ・パプアニューギニア産コーヒーを販売し、好評を得ることができました。
Along with exchange students, L-café held a booth at the annual Homecoming Day. This year we sold hand made brownies, cupcakes, pound cake, and coffee from Papua New Guinea!
Let’s Get Spooky!

L-café内でハロウィンパーティーを行いました。当日は様々な衣装を着用した学生らが集まり、コスチュームの完成度を競うコンテストも開催されました。コンテストでは、3位までに景品が用意され、盛り上がりました。
We gathered together inside L-café for a spooky Halloween! We held a costume contest and awarded the guys and ghouls who came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Autumn Leaves at Kankakei

紅葉や日本の自然を見るため、留学生（5名）と日本人学生（4名）で小豆島を訪れました。留学生はカナダ人2名、イギリス人2名、アメリカ人1名、そしてアメリカ人の英語教員も参加しました。日本人学生も４人参加し、香川県の小豆島にある「寒霞渓」を登りながら紅葉を楽しみました。
午前7:30に岡山駅に集合し、12時半ごろには寒霞渓頂上に到達しました。そこで昼食を食べ、その後4名はロープウェーに乗って、6名は歩いて下山しました。
ハイキングと紅葉を楽しみながら、留学生と日本人学生間で良いコミュニケーションの機会を作ることができました。学生からは、あいにくの曇り空で気温も低かったが、楽しい時間を過ごすことができたという感想が寄せられました。
On November 23rd, five international students and four Japanese students went together to enjoy the Autumn colors on Shodoshima, Kagawa.
The students rode together to the island and made their way to “Kankakei,” a famous site seeing spot. We reached the summat at around noon and ate lunch at the various stalls on the top of the mountain. Four students took the rope-way to the bottom and six students decided to take an alternate route and walk down.
Although it was a bit cloudy that day, the students were still able to enjoy the Autumn atmosphere on Shodoshima!

田町温泉ツアー

「岡山ウェルカム大使」と一緒に岡山市にある『田町温泉』に行きました。留学生（6人）と日本人学生（１人）が参加し、4人の留学生は初めての温泉経験でした。入る前に少し緊張した様子の留学生たちでしたが、温泉を上がる頃には、皆が「よかった」「また行きたい」等の感想を言うなど、大変好評でした。
On December 14th (WED), six exchange students and one Japanese student went with the “Okayama Welcome Organization” to a bath house called “Tamachi Onsen.” It was the first time at an onsen for four of the exchange students and they were nervous before entering, everyone agreed in the end that it was a good experience and they’d like to go to an onsen again.
